Oh fuck this guy. None of those areas of history are being neglected by scholars, they’re just not the end all be all of historical scholarship anymore.

Well, here we go with the first addition of guns and clothes to the game. I wonder if they’ll be similarly priced with what was in RDO when it launched, or if it will it go the GTAO route and make new stuff ten to one hundred times more expensive than the default options.

You magnificent bastard. Well done.

They damn well better not be nerfing my bolt action rifle

He’s still touching his dick and wiping his ass when he goes to the bathroom in between his daily showers.

It depends on how much self respect I have at the moment. At my best, I’ll heat up some chicken strips in the toaster oven and make some rice. At my worst, I’ll have SPAM in the can, one chunk at a time until the salt makes me too nauseated to continue.

Wait, seriously? There’s cream of mushroom in that crap? Who the hell thought that was a good idea? God damn.

Yeah, honestly, that is a major turn off for me. I don’t mind if the basic play style is more complex than the other suits, but IMO it should be able to perform its basic function effectively without requiring specific builds.

TBH if I had decided to add Anthem to my library, I don’t think I would’ve played the Colossus much. I usually prefer more straightforward roles, and probably would’ve ended up maining the Ranger or Interceptor (maybe the Storm, but I didn’t try that one).

Oh good, I’m glad it wasn’t just me. I felt more survivable in the Interceptor than in the Colossus

Gave the Interceptor and Colossus a try. I couldn’t quite get the hang of the Colossus (although the railgun on that sucker is a lot of fun), although I did enjoy stabbing things with the Interceptor a lot.

Goy Tights”

The ones with almonds or toffee in them are decent, but the plain ones are just absolute trash. The last time I had a plain Hershey’s Kiss, it left a residue on my tongue and a nasty aftertaste in my mouth.

And I’m simply pointing out that just because NMS exists doesn’t mean there’s no room for more games with similar core concepts. Variety is the spice of life, man.

Whatever Pioneer was, it would’ve been different from NMS. For one thing, it probably would’ve had NPCs with actual character. Also, just because there’s already a game like that, doesn’t mean that there’s no room for more.

Is one of your Sisyphean tasks to explain to your students what Sisyphean means? Please say yes

That’s disappointing. A space exploration game that de-emphasized combat would’ve been cool. Certainly more interesting than a co-op alien shooter.

They definitely need a sprint/run option for the fort

I managed to actually play and complete one mission, the rest of the weekend I got stuck with the infinite loading screen every time I tried to leave Fort Tarsis. Kinda hard to form an opinion on the game from that.
