i mean, maybe if you think genre is nothing but semiotics and a series of signifiers that have to be present to be considered representative of the genre, then i guess you’ll like this game, but if you want a cyberpunk story to actually be about something more than “wow! cool future! robot arms! prostitutes!” then

lol he had less than a week to play this game and turn it into a coherent review, give him a break. if he hadn’t tempered his misgivings with “i dunno” then all of this game’s shitty stans would be sending death threats, as they do

i dunno, if i had the same faults with a book, it would make sense to dock points in the review. it’s almost like, people engage, with fiction, in ways that are important

I don’t know why this review expects the game to “say” something about diversity or trans culture or the world. It’s not an emotional indie game with a message. It’s not a personal project focused on a topic or a message.

that’s frankly pathetic. i would rather kill myself than experience media that way

lmao, would you like to take a moment and consider what CGI stands for, dipshit?

if i were writing the reviews i would have given it a D just for having boba fett in it

it’s almost like that was the entire point, that he was some intimidating looking guy who would just get accidentally killed by mr. magoo, but the fanfic crowd could never allow anything be anything more than surface-level action figures bumping into each other

are you actually confused as to how twitch relates to games? are you this bugfucking stupid? why are you even alive? why did your mom let you survive?

Edit it. Write around it. There is no reason for any adaptation of anything to include everything from the source material. I love the name Decoy Octopus but there's no reason to include him in the movie.

Karl Urban was right there tho...

the one on his crotch

does it seem like he likes any of this stuff beyond it’s awesome or something?

I try to not be as immediately negative and cynical towards other people’s tastes as I have been in the past, but RP1 is something that worms itself under my skin and gets my bile up. I’ll be blunt: my opinion of anybody is immediately lessened it they admit that they like this book. Is that fair? No, probably not,

hard to say whether she was a good parent, but immediately volunteering to join the militia when you have a son who acts like hope is maybe a mark against you? then again, when you have a son who acts like hope, who could blame you?

because only cartoon characters matter anymore. we don’t want to see characters played by humans, we want puppets and masks and orange makeup

i would rather kill myself than have the sort of brain that finds this compelling

lol, there’s nothing about demon slayer, the most generic action anime i’ve ever seen, that would be fundamentally lost if it went live-action

holy shit bad boys 3 came out this year? coulda swore it was a 2018 thing

I will say that Mikkelsen’s role was probably the most dramatic (in the sense that it required the most out of the performer) in the whole game, so it was a pretty good showcase for his abilities.
