No you didn’t - you’ve replied multiple times to argue about it since claiming you were done! And you’re still replying! That’s not letting it go, TamTams - let it go...!

Facts don’t need you to think they are facts in order for them to be facts - we’ve been over this already, remember? Let it go, TamTams, let it go...!
So you wanted to prove you are unswayed by facts? That’s an odd endgame, but whatever! Let it go, TamTams! Enjoy your 12 internet points you got for your outrage and let it go...!
Let it go, TamTams! Its not a matter of agreeing or disagreeing! Let it go...!
That’s completely untrue, and is not a matter of opinion but a matter of fact. There are no opinions that I have claimed to be fact here, only facts that you try to dismiss as opinion.
The issue is that you keep dismissing fact as “opinion”, as if that somehow means or demonstrates anything with regard to specific facts. It’s not an “agree to disagree” situation - you keep making claims to fact that simply are not true.
That you think they don’t doesn’t change the fact that they, in fact, do. You haven’t demonstrated that they don’t apply to the show itself, because you can’t. And you haven’t even done a very good job at demonstrating why you think they don’t - the nearly nonsensical response you (finally) gave, if anything, only…

They think they’re being “edgy” or “controversial” by posting his mug shot, so they do it every chance they get - also because it gets them more clicks (and thus more money) and they’re still sore about the fact that someone else (BoingBoing) got a hold of it and published it first.
Doesn’t matter - you’re still supporting the company that chose to do something you find “truly repulsive” (for reasons that apply to watching the show itself), because you don’t want to give up your source of entertainment / playing Prison Voyeur.
It’s all the same company. So yeah - still hypocritical. Not surprising, given the fact that your criticisms of the event also apply to the show itself.
Now of course the real question is, will you stop watching the show because of this event - or are you only offended enough to let people on the internet know how offended you are, but not offended enough to actually give up your source of entertainment?
And you’re not actually answering the questions, either.
Not really.
No, you have not answered those questions - you keep dodging them.
You do understand that the criticisms you have of the promotional event apply to the show as well, do you not?
“The characters in this show are meant to show the humanity behind the very real women who are in prison.”
“I do think it shows that prisoners are human beings who deserve basic human rights.”
One could even say that it exploits the subject for entertainment and profit.
It’s worth noting that the OITNB writer licensed her story to Netflix to produce a comedy-drama for the purpose of entertainment (and profit). It’s also worth noting that this writer (of the above story) links to a story that features an “Adults Try [X-Type Food]” video that, although it does raise the question of…
