The Belgariad was my first true fantasy series obsession.  I must have been introduced to it at just the right time and place in my life, because in retrospect, it's really pretty flawed.  A little too cute and certainly tropey as hell.
But that said, perhaps it's residual sentiment, but I'd totally watch a show

The best part of John Dies at the End was the intro hatchet question.  You decapitate a man, but in doing so, splinter the handle.  You replace the handle, but next day, you shatter, then replace the head.  The man returns, zombified, sees you holding said tool and exclaims, "That's the hatchet that killed me!"  Is he

Can I go with the third option of you commenting on it in a TV on the Radio song post?

An entire Saturday afternoon's worth of discount taco meat.

Awesome!  I'm so excited I'm doing my TV on the Radio dance.  This is the internet, so you can't see it.  Also, I'm white, so I'm not dancing.

You're all a bunch of goddamn young liars.

Mormonade as it's colloquially known.

I'm happy to hear the storytelling is quality, but I'm really put off by what I've seen so far of the animatin style. The Batman looks ananchephalic. Maybe the series will address the difficulties Bruce Wayne faces fighting crime with just a brain stem.

He's painstakingly moving limbs frame-by-frame with the angels now.

It certainly has a borscht-belt schtickiness to it, but I usually enjoy it.
Though Mo Rocca isn't as funny as he thinks he is.
But it did have Neko Case answering a quiz about Necco wafers.  And that shit's awesome.
I didn't ask to be born white.  I just want to enjoy my weekend NPR.

ABC diffuses bomb-themed 'Castle' episode.

Ray, when someone asks you if you want to qualify for Federal Matching Funds, you say yes!

I dunno.  Given that before that, men were wearing wicker lip-plugs and dancing around with their dicks on fire, a nice cotton blend doesn't seem overly masculine.

Finning!!!!

Yeah, I feel like he's now like Kroegen, the Nazi Ninja from Hellboy.  But if you stab him, instead of releasing the dry dusts of time, it would be a cloud of Muscle Milk.

"I'm Under Your Spell" from Buffy, Once More With Feeling might not be my favorite song from the episode, but it's pretty awesome. Amber Benson has a fantastic voice, but it's really memorable for having the most graphic double-entendres and blush-worthy allusion to Lesbian lovemaking -hell probably any lovemaking-

With all that quirk, I'd like to say this has a Wes Anderson vibe.  But sadly, if Lohan is involved, it's probably more Alejandro Jodorowsky .

Perhaps all jumbled in bed together, pulling up on blankets and looking surprised into the camera, like a poster from a seventies sex romp comedy?
