Given that Tears of the Kingdom does have more traditional Zelda dungeons, that little aside feels a very odd inclusion. There’s a lot of things people miss from the old experience but you’ve picked something that was corrected already in the sequel.

There are huge, world-touring popstars out there who I’ve never heard of - doesn’t stop them being insanely popular, they’re just popular in different circles.

But it’s your fault you ended up in “pro hud” mode, not the games.

The “intro” bit for TotK is longer than it is for BotW, most players will (sensibly) wait until the “main” quest starts before they begin wandering off, in which case it’s impossible to miss the paraglider.

We’ve been at that point for decades, that’s why films are rated?

By “hardest difficulty” they mean NG+7 which is the highest Elden Ring can scale to.

It’s been surprisingly okay for me on high settings - but that doesn’t mean others aren’t having unacceptable problems. The PS5 edition is apparently struggling a lot too in some areas.

The “small guy” is a hack trying to make easy money and doesn’t have a leg to stand on. I’m all for protecting individual interests over a monolith like Amazon, but not all small guys are good people/in the right.

I think you’re attaching a negative connotation to ‘nerf’ that I don’t and that explains the disparancy. A nerf to me is simply a lowering of something’s power level, which is true regardless of when it happens.

Weird thing to be picky about - it’s still a nerf if it happens during an alpha, doesn’t matter if the game is out.

Don’t be a twat.

Including the title that’s 3 separate mentions of Cyberpunk 2033. How big’s that chip on your shoulder?

My Dad is from Belfast and I spent a lot of my childhood there and no, Belfast is not a good film.

This is absolute nonsense. Art is accessible to literally everybody who can be bothered to try. The idea that AI art is mainly the purview of the disabled is utter fucking drivel.
There is 0 skill in AI art. It’s not art, and it’s theft.

You just can’t charge £64.99 (current Steam price) for a game like this when it’s had such a horrible marketing campaign. There’s actually a lot to like about the game, but it’s certainly not going to end up being one of the best of the year and it should have been priced accordingly. Throwing this on Steam at £39.99

They charged a huge amount for it, it’s still £64.99 on Steam right now. At that price “not bad” just doesn’t feel good enough.
Enix shot themselves in the foot - as they often do - with the pricing and poor marketing campaign.

What on earth is this article? You say it’s steeped in assault allegations and then it turns out to be a throwaway line at the very end where it turns out two (2!%) of the (unnamed) contestants have allegations against them. Is that even higher than the average at all?

It has literally nothing to do with the show, or

Elden Ring is a game that suits repeat playthroughs due to vastly different builds, speedrunning, boss challenges and the like - the things that sustain the entire Soulsborne series (outside of Sekiro seemingly). Horizon has none of that potential in the same way, so it’s no surprise that it’s twitch viewers a year

Games don’t actually have to be combat focused, especially ones in a world that doesn’t exactly brim with combat as is. Instead classes and Quidditch, two core parts of the experience, are hugely simplified or outright missing. The focus is all wrong for this game.

What a weird, sad twat you are.
