I was cautiously optimistic about this season based on the opening, but it’s proven itself to be as ineffectual and tired as the first, and the ending wasn’t much better.

The best advice is to simply not buy the game if you’re only intending to play solo. There’s some fun to be had, but it’s really REALLY not designed around it - there’s absolutely no scaling difficulty for party sizes - so you can get through the first 1/4-1/3 of difficulty tiers and then it’ll be impossible to go any…
Why is it an odd combination? I’ve not once understood, it seems like...a perfectly reasonable thing to say?
Gamepass has 34 million subscribers, it’s doing very well.
Steam however has 120 million active monthly users so no shit more people are playing Palworld on there?
Even if it is a ‘long con’ - you’re in control of your subscription, you can always stop paying if need be, you’re still getting immensely more value for your money.
What a ridiculous take.
Nothing sells well compared to the Switch. Most estimates have the Deck at 3-4 million units. The Switch is over 130 million.
The Quest 2 (I believe the best seller) has sold well over 10 million units. It was very very successful.
Starfield is sitting on negative reviews on Steam. It’s very much the kind of game that gets worse the more time you spend with it.
I’d have BG3 in second but I’m glad to see all this love for AW2 - such originality really should be getting the plaudits. Not convinced on Diablo 4 despite the many hours I’ve put into it already, feels like it’s not as good as it’s placing but it has the *potential* to be so.
It’s not clickbait if you literally have to read the entire article to get to the bait.
This guy has been working on exactly that - https://twitter.com/TrespasserVR
Not really recently on console/PC I’d suggest, they’re mainly confined to mobile these days. Well, that and the Warhammer license.
Elden Ring was literally patched to be easier.
I’m with Denzil on this - my shoebox was 100% full by the end of the game, to the point where I did what you’re suggesting and took out 6 coffee mug charms and suicided to some wolves just to clear some space. I also threw away a ton of medkits, crossbow bolts and flares along the way.
Since it can’t be used as a second screen and it isn’t particularly adept at being portable, the use cases for this thing seem so small.
Well obviously it does that, otherwise what on earth would be the point?
I enjoyed it for the two hours I played, but unfortunately I’ve hit a game breaking bug that’s halted all my progress until there’s a patch. Given that it seems to be a pretty common occurrence, I don’t really think the game can be recommended as is.
No, it’s a hard R - why would it be a hard N when the pronunciation of the N doesn’t change? It’s the difference between ‘ger’ where you hear the R and ‘ga’ where it’s omitted.
I very very rarely replay games. I’ve recently replayed Alan Wake in preparation for the sequel, but there’s just such a huge array of games I want to try out I much prefer to play a variety.
