Avatar was the one where you could get 1000 gs within the first 5 minutes right? You had to punch a fence or something

I’ve played it for an hour and I promise you it isn’t. This is not a ‘so bad it’s good’ situation
That’d make sense if Lords of the Fallen dramatically changes the standard Soulsborne combat loop like Sekiro - and to an extent Lies of P - did, but it doesn’t. I also don’t see many of the reviews at all making that complaint, instead attributing the problems to ‘false’ difficulty like cheap traps and an…
I’m in the endgame for Lies of P, and Diablo IV’s new season is launching soon - sounds like a marked improvement over season 1. Then Alan Wake 2 to round out the month.
Surprised about the Crimson Fleet love in, which I thought was populated with pretty annoying characters and a forced ending. It was much better than Freestar, but not on the level of the Vanguards.
Why can’t they all be the bad guy? (they are)
Not suggesting OP wasn’t being a dick about it, but merchandize isn’t correct in Britain either. Merchandize is the verb, ie you merchandize a product. John used it as a noun, so it should be merchandise.
I can’t disagree with much of the review - the game’s problems are numerous and irritating, but yet, I can’t help but love it. I’m a sucker for the formula despite my disdain for Fallout 4. I do think the writing in this game is probably the best Bethesda has done in a long time, the UC Vanguard and central storylines…
Baldur’s Gate 3 came out on the 3rd of August (after being in Early Access, mind you) and Patch 1 hit on the 25th August.
Starfield came out on the 6th of September and it’s now the 25th of September.
Where’s the striking contrast?
I’ve been playing a Beastmaster Ranger as my MC and absolutely shredding. The changes to the beasts at level 5 in particular make it really come online.
I love BG3 and it’s great that such a game is getting all this fanfare - but people need to stop acting like Larian isn’t a huge company. There’s nearly as many developers on Baldur’s Gate 3 as there is the likes of Starfield, and *far* more than your average game.
Weirdly aggro.
It’s just a fun alternate take on an experience people have already had. Not every mod needs to tie in to a games themes, sometimes it’s just for a breath of fresh air.
“Shut up and consume product” isn’t actually the win you think it is. No matter what your build is, the game has slowed down dramatically thanks to XP nerfs etc. Any build reliant on vuln, crit etc. has also suffered.
D3 is a decent game now, and in a much better state than D4.
“Not only do Sacred and Ancestral items require you to play in World Tiers III and IV, respectively, they also require characters to hit level 100 in order to equip them.”
Nope? It’s level 100 players who are having that problem. This just puts the cap at 60/80.
Given the context, they’re talking about gaming-specific markets.
I find the love for Snyder utterly bizarre given his relative mediocrity as a director - and yet I think it’s pretty hard to deny that Cavill is a superb Geralt and the show (which is already not brilliant) is going to fall off when he goes.
They were only removed for a couple of hours - when they came back they were available from more places. The goalposts got wider, not smaller.
Yeah you’re genuinely more likely to be hit by a car or something than see one of these in your lifetime, which is wild considering they’ll probably cease to be relevant in barely a week.
