No. GTA Online really only exploded with the last game, but 4 and 5 in particular were gigantic releases even before the online became important.

Still haven’t played it - but do want to, and I’m glad they’ve stuck with it and worked on improving it. At this point I’m going to wait until it’s “finished” before hopping in - not like we lack for good games - but as much vitriol as they recieved upon release, they definitely deserve some credit now.
You should unfeel that.
Why? Why does her dying suddenly means she warrants sympathy?
Pikmin may not have been a huge seller but I remember it being an immensely popular title even when I was a young teen and the first game was out. To suggest it’s somehow less interesting than hearing Pratt’s Mario voice is such a bizarre take.
The single player component of Infinite was very well recieved though.
What a bitchy little comment.
Why would there be?
I still don’t agree that Souls games should have difficulty sliders in this vein, namely because that’s (at this point) very clearly something the devs aren’t interested in. If we want games to be treated as pieces of art, something which they surely are, then the vision and purpose of those games should be up to the…
Elden Ring has fairly obvious difficulty options - the game becomes relatively easy, no more difficult than an average action-RPG if you just use ash summons for the bosses.
Kotaku’s weird hatred of Game Pass becomes more and more obvious with every article - Final Fantasy XIII? Really? Only one of the best if you discount the 10+ other titles in the series that are better, and widely slated by game reviewers upon release.
You’ve also obviously not played a lot of the games you think are…
Yeah
Would have had no idea if I hadn’t seen your comment. What a massive shame, was one of the bright spots on Kotaku back in the day.
This just seems like manufactured outrage. Yes, crunch is bad and QA workers need better conditions, pay, unions and the rest of it, but yes if it could feasibly be done by AI then of course that’s something studios would want. Many *MANY* jobs in history have ceased to exist as technology has improved, it’s part and…
Why would you post something so openly stupid, is this satire?
You don’t need to be tolerant of intolerance.
I’ve loved messing around on Midjourney but the comments on this article are bizarre. If nothing else this is going to put a lot of low level artists out of work, and yet the comment section rejoices.
Why has anybody upvoted this nonsense. There’s a huge amount of problems with AI Art as the article goes into, but you’ve decided to latch onto a single point so you can be snide about it.
Yikes
Game really only has surface similarities with Hades, the world is much *much* less involved, and the gameplay is many layers shallower than Hades is. It’s a fun enough game, I don’t regret the purchase, but it’s a little too easy and a little too simple to come close to the likes of Hades.
