I think the negative voices are much louder, but I’ve spent a lot of time on the Elden Ring subreddit and by and large the “git gud” people are downvoted heavily. Most people use summons and suggest as much with no problems whatsoever. 

Can you name a single game where NG+ makes narrative sense? Even the latest big title with it - Elden Ring - makes absolutely no narrative sense on NG+. That’s kind of inherent to every single NG+ experience.

Because if developers think this is the right move to make, then we get more games like this and less actually good games. Not too complex, right?
