I somehow never played the original - should I go back and play that first in order to appreciate this? I can’t get a good handle on whether the content of the old game is largely similar or not, and if it’s just been twisted for comedic effect then I assume I’d need to plsy the original to appreciate it.

I’m not convinced it reads easier than the old one at all - I think you see the downsides of the white negative space on that Elden Ring cover, it looks cheap, it’s hard to read quickly, and really it’s just very unimpactful. The old logo - I agree was outdated - but thanks to the colourful holding shape it had easy

Slightly weird take, surely? There’s no chance that the rampant sexism and abhorrent working culture directly impact sales in that way - the fact is the majority of people buying CoD are either a) unaware of this or b) wouldn’t care anyway. You hit on the fact that the game was a bit of a mess but they give the lack

Mage has a below average winrate - I’ve been farming them as a Warrior and Druid.

Some of us don’t want every aspect of games homogenised into what makes a ‘modern game’, thanks.

There’s summon signs all over the beach, to summon the NPCs with

He’s still quite a bit easier than his original iteration - the damage got reverted, but there was a host of other changes during the original nerfs.

Don’t think I’d try high-reflex games, but I streamed Viva Pinata: TiP on my PC via the Xbox streaming thing and had no problems at all.

Don’t think the modders have much to do with that one.

Which bosses in Souls games aren’t well balanced?

Haven’t found the UI to be a problem at all - though I am very used to the genre by now. Though there are a handful of somewhat annoying choices - a UI pop up when I want to resummon Torrent for example, considering that’s usually mid-battle, AND IT DEFAULTS TO NO? That’s got me killed more than once.

There’s literally a button called ‘More Detail’ or something which tells you at length what each stat does.

I’m 40 hours into the game and haven’t been doing any of those things. Do I know where to go or how every quest line is going to turn out? Not really, but that’s part of the enjoyment for me, that mystery and unknowing is precisely why I’m loving the game so if we could keep JUST ONE GAME SERIES that doesn’t need to

That run was literally posted after the article was.

How long have you worked at Sony?

There’s already been articles about Elden Ring’s performance problems, why would we need another other than to hit some quota you’ve devised?

Except for the millions of console players, and the many people who can’t/won’t pirate. They’re doing something good, even if it comes at the cost of their own income stream.
Such a weird comment.

Are you unironically suggesting T.rex should be in fact split into not 3, but 12 species? You know it’s predecessors are... a different species right

That’s assuming you have absolutely no ability to...remember a name you’ve seen before?

It could not be any more obvious that this is your video.
