I think you’re understating his opinions. It’s not as though he came out and said, “You know, I don’t care what anyone else says, but Arby’s is fucking delicious”. He said some pretty vile, white nationalist nonsense.

Sorry, but this isn’t a civil rights issue. His political standing isn’t what got him fired from this job, it’s what he said and how he said it. Freedom of speech has never meant freedom of consequence, especially from an employer.
