Shadow of the Vampire had a great opening sequence. The rest of the movie is ok, but it sure didn’t measure up to the impression I got from watching the opening.

I'm not seeing this movie unless I find out that King Missile's song Detachable Penis is on the soundtrack.

Come on! Some of these movies aren't so bad. At least American Beauty contains some ironic humour. A movie like Grand Canyon is much worse for not even having that. Chasing Amy is as bad as you say, however. (But I still have a soft spot for Kevin Smith. I can't help it.)

Seeing Wrath of Khan era Kirk (unironically?) elevated to the level of Byzantine icon makes me wonder if anything important has actually been lost on that score.

It's got to be Btugg. Or maybe it's Rombney?

I didn't bother with Revolution - I had a feeling I wouldn't like it. Similarly, I'm no expert on the military or weaponry, but I think I know enough to find basic flaws with the premise of Last Resort. (I won't bore everyone with a list; but, believe me, the more I mull it over, the more issues seem to pop up.) Tom…

Man, I totally missed THAT scene! And here I was thinking that the hug at the end between the SEAL and the woman from Dollhouse was pushing credibility a bit. WTF? Anyway, I don't care 'cause I'm 99.9% done with this show already.

I don't think I'll continue to watch this show. It's less Tom Clancy and more Clive Cussler. I'd like to think Clancy would have had slightly better verisimilitude. There's a lot to nit-pick about this show and, for me, that's crazy-making.

I almost stopped watching Battlestar Galactica too, but for completely different reasons. (The Cylons made things too convoluted and Apollo's character arc was too silly.) However, BG:Razor impressed me enough that I stuck it out.
