Yeah, it was finally pulling out of its nose dive at the end. I think the dismal episodes at the beginning of the series alienated too many people. SG1 and Atlantis had dire situations, but they never made viewers want to slit their wrists like SG:U did. I, myself, found it hard to take and almost gave up on the show

I probably would have enjoyed seeing that more the musical performance. As it was, the match was over before it started.

I saw Sonic Youth at Bumbershoot in the mid '90s and that's kinda when I stopped being interested in them. They just played 45 min. of noise (not in any compelling way). Someone in the crowd threw a tennis ball at them. (Gordon then admonished the audience not to throw anything unless it was wrapped in a $100 bill.)
