We’ll just have to wait and see.
We’ll just have to wait and see.
Yeah I think my non-omniscience goes without saying.
I bet most game studios hate their fans since most fans are cringe. I was watching a video of a fighting game player’s stream and he apparently didn’t think anything of having a video of him using sexual pejorative out there forever. Or the JRPG fans that trash talk dubs and demand Japanese audio. Most fans are…
Yeah they’ve probably been working on it for like 2 years already. EA got the rights to the games, they probably didn’t just start Battlefront then decide to wait until after it’s done to fund another game when there’s a new movie releasing every year for the next 6 years to do the game’s advertising.
More time to work on a new SW RPG. The series is in full swing, Battlefront was not the game we were looking for.
Half the fun comes from messing around with your gear and finding out you accidentally made a really fun set-up. Like I used to do this build where everything was lightning based and I would shoot lighting out randomly because of my weapon, or because of my skills, or just because of my armor. Before that I had a…
Croixleur Sigma looks pretty good. Have to see what it actually looks like in action.
Trails in the Sky. It’s all people have been talking about so might as well play. It feels 10 years old. And it’s like 10 minutes of fighting for every 30 minutes of talking. But at the same time it’s like a major problem of most JRPGs where you get this tiny bit of exposition between dungeons and before bosses, then…
You can get really good at using the horse though. There are a bunch of tricks you can learn and stuff, too.
Saying they have an iffy reputation might be the nice way of wording it. But they put out Life is strange and as cringe as that game was it hit it’s schedule perfectly.
Likely they won’t release it in horrible sporadic chunks like Telltale.
Yeah it turned into Berserk all of the sudden. Beautiful.
That game, I remember climbing on a Beholder, those giant eyes, and stabbing it in the eye a bunch. Then it used magic to try to hit me, but the magic was like a giant spiky rock formation, so it stabbed itself in the eye. Such a beautiful game.
It’s like if Demon’s Souls was never followed up with anything. Game is great but flawed and yet many people who played it went down the rabbit hole. Could of spawned a bunch of games. And the expansion was great, so focused on what their strengths were.
Yeah there is a thing now where we say “game X + DD’s combat.” I think that means it had an impact. Even if lots of outlets just pretend it didn’t happen.
You got scooped by the Telegraph? For shame.
The stories about aging out of the game industry were so sad. Showing up at a new job and being the “old guy.” I wonder if we’d have some of the perennial problems if the industry grew up a little.
Yeah you almost never updated “not yets.”
There are a number of reasons why Saints Row was smart in doing that. Just Cause should of learned from that.
Only a few of the destruction challenges are actually any fun, most are all about timing and strategy not blatant carnage. And then the skydiving challenges, maybe early on I didn't care so much but eventually they got so old.
