There are 2 ways to motivate players to spend more money: “this is so awesome I will spend more” or “this game is unplayable I have to spend more.” I think it’s clear how Destiny treats players who don’t pay up.

Every movie is shaped by the protagonist. Like Batman should be the story of a crazy guy but in his head he’s awesome, able to stealth in the shadows and fight crime without killing anyone. Meanwhile he’s actually left dozens of people paralized.
