I think the OP was referring to the difference between life and art(games), in that: while pushing for things in life is one thing going after it in games is another.

I see the point, but all of the X1's content is expensive, there are cheaper ways to get this sort of stuff with cheaper content. So it doesn't really make any headway in that direct either. Not to say your point isn't true or valid.

Yeah, if you read the article that's part of the problem. And the whole point of opening up a new market, for a console, is adding to the player base to buy games. So if everyone's going to just pirate the games that immediately runs counter to why this would be beneficial to Microsoft at this point. I can see this

Yeah, that's part of his point: China's into mobile in a big way and Xboxes just don't really fit into that culture. I mean imagine the world where this works out, Microsoft would have to push lots of money in to try and get a good spot in this market and it would have to coincide with some sort of major change in

ha.

I don't know if anyone's played EDF 2025 but we need a Hulk game that's basically that, with a few other characters in it like iron man and spider man. That's what people want, not a bunch of hallways connecting levels but a chance to just Hulk out.

Yeah, Kirby is way too bland w/o his anger brows.

Would you add a spoiler warning to your post? He does go into depth on the souls games stories.

holy cow holy cow holy cow...!!!!!!!!!

Now playing

What you term the "new-ish" era. Dreamcast RPGs, PS2 RPGs, nothing beats this era for me. Good enough graphics and sound that I honestly don't have that hard a time setting back and playing one now, but also big enough storage limitations they could try more ideas.

I'm pretty sure homesickness was played as a serious thing. Not the same as some of this other stuff, but still developers thinking outside of normal health concerns in games, i.e. not emotional/mental.

thumbs up for love craft. Wish more games tackled his material. Nevertheless the psychological factor in games is an interesting element and more games should explore it.

Nah, I heard the pen and paper call of cthulu has the phobia/fetish thing.

I don't think any are, but I definitely cleared out a treasure fearing I would get destroyed by a NG+ mimic.

Yeah, the Call of Cthulu game would have you get scarred from events and develop phobias or fetishes based on them.

Is it just me or were the cat girls breasts smaller in the PS3 version? Like...what? Anyhow, aren't most of the differences stuff that don't really matter on graphics? Like graphics are important, but in an MMO aren't there lots of other things that sort of decide whether you choose one or another, like controller

I'm in NG+, I wouldn't say summoning people is quick...
