If you're not done with NG yet, then a word of warning about NG+, I could swear some of the mimic chests are now just normal chests...from trolls.

Awesome!

I totally understand your thoughts on PvP. But I think they thought more about gear this time around. As a mage I wear the hexer's hood but, get this, I probably won't throw out a single spell cause, seriously now, it kind of destroys the point of PvP. If it wasn't for stunlocking melee builds or people chugging

Yes and no. Yeah, i think builds are more interesting, but caps were popular because it made summoning/pvp easier. There are loads of people who don't really care about pvp but they keep their level down for the summoning. Just also works out most people finish a build about the time you finish ng or right after

I'll say more or less yeah. If you stay at level 5 and grind for items to do a low level run you'll get a huge soul memory and get invaded by people who have leveled up and put souls towards levels and gear and spells.

You're in NG+?

Soul memory means it doesn't matter what your sl really is. But I think most people have switched to 150 while some sort of hold out that 120 is gonna stay used.

Well I just think the game looks fantastic so any release is good. But like all kickstarters the creator isn't even thinking people outside of the PC space could be interested.

Game looks sooo good, but like all Kickstarters it's just for PCs, so as console gamer I don't really find any interest in these stories. It's always "Hey, this game looks great... oh, yeah..."

Yeah, instead of GIFs in the future everyone's going to send these things to people.

Ahem

Perfect.

Yeah, that's one of those PC things. Nobody with a controller wants to invert the axis.

If you think that's crazy wait until they get to the "Ilsa: She Wolf of the SS" stage.

"But Fahey, having five characters fighting at once leads to a whole lot of menu navigation during battles." Stop trying to sell me, I am already sold. Besides, they're not fighting all at once, they are taking turns like real buddies should. I bet there are hugs afterwards.

Awesome tie is awesome.

Yeah, I feel bad laughing in the middle of philosophy class talking about buddhism. But seriously, that image pops in my head.

Yeah, people are sort of glad SE is so into JRPGs apparently now, I just kind of find it mortifying that they really didn't think that making stuff in that vein for foreign markets was worthwhile. I don't know, the problem with enjoying stuff from another culture is obviously people outside that culture aren't the
