Actually a decent idea, since apparently many people don't even screw around with a whole portion of the game b/c of min/maxing. And with the level cap slowly but surely rising I bet part of this is in knowing getting to max level is continuously going to get more difficult.

I approve. ;)

Mike Fahey noticed me!

Ha. Rad.

Yeah, I want a game that's a mix between being Lord British and the sims/sim city. Make your own kingdom, create places for adventurers to hang out, then give out quests. Quests too weak won't raise their levels quick enough, vice versa you'd end up with a town free of adventurers giving them all the tough jobs

I'm thinking about how to write something about BD for TAY. Essentially the game has weird balance problems towards the higher end of the spectrum, like skills should have been worked out differently. Instead they sort of force you into a few good classes towards the end of the game.

Ha.

You're tearing me apart Square Enix.

Why?

Sorry, talking about the Chun Li one. But still, this is one of those things if you think it's gross you, well, you might be the problem more than the kids or their parents.

What? I think it's super cute. Look at her little kicking boots. I mean think about the pictures you have of being a kid, wouldn't it be rad to have a few more pictures like the ones from Halloween time? And on another entirely different note at least they're not dressing her up like a princess.

This vid is just looking at the negative aspects of fandom, and comparing to films is problematic. Films have Hollywood pushing for people to watch them, games have, for years and years, been much more niche. While they might be breaking away from that a bit, games are selling to their fans. Kickstarter is because

I don't know what to think of this stuff. The Idea Channel videos. I both dislike the use of language in them and find some of the ideas to be intellectually fishy. Like just because you say things in a certain way doesn't make them any more real. As well, when you break down what's being said often it doesn't

Yeah, but mobile doesn't really deserve it's own category since they're basically like the worst of the arcade era. While handheld games are in a sort of Renaissance right now making stellar experiences. But why actually do handhelds justice?

"world designed soley for leisure"

As well, saying the game is successful is a sort of false statement. It might seem monetarily successful right now, but I think they actually ended up burning the bridge down they had just built. I doubt another BF game will be as big after the hassle this one has seen.

Lot of talks about OpenGL, VR, and working with Steam and Steam Machines. Interesting future coming down the pipe.

Great video explaining what's up with the game. Remember, they know this is how things work, and they released it like that, and this guy says it's a success. Totally out of sync with reality. Seriously though, this guy is not helping EA's "super-dicks" image.

Hot dogs?

This is actually kind of blowing my mind. One of the problems with your magic units at the start of playing FFT is learning how to deal with charging time. Well that and Delita.
