Everything costs a fortune in this city and the pay is in the pits. The other week some company gave me an offer that was below 34,000 with no benefits and in a shitty neighborhood. I think they must have thought they were doing me a favor. I nearly blew a fuse.
YES. I have so many teachers and friends in Graduate school who are freelancing and balancing that with part time adjunct work. And there are some who are still working as part-time adjunct and can't find anything else.
It's still too expensive but hopefully it'll be improved upon until it's free ninety-nine.
