Even if it's true to the source material? Major cop-out on their part. Also, Batman Begins came out in '05. Family Guy and Arrested Development were already making 9/11 jokes by then.

Hey, Indiana Jones, you're looking… nice.

But the worst? Grad Students. Hands down.

I watched the animated series religiously, so Ra's al Ghul was very familiar to me. But the dude was supposed to be an Assyrian or some shit, not Asian, and certainly not white. Still think Neeson did a good job, though.

Agreed, @avclub-b98d7c7f25e969a9225df3287b4c4c42:disqus . Things like that showed that MacFarlane had balls.

Indeed… one of Rage's best songs, IMO.

Goddamn, Otto, I would insert that line almost every time after someone said "You so crazy" from about '95 to '03, and everyone always looked at me like I was in need of electroshock therapy. Kudos, good sir.

I've always railed against the Ewoks as the point when George Lucas officially jumped the shark ("Storm Troopers have ARMOR! Dropping tiny rocks on their heads won't do SHIT!") but I still think Jedi is redeemed for two things: the crazy-ass space battle, and the Luke-vs-Vader lightsaber fight, which is by far the

Oh, man, Sugar Ray…

That trailer was the best part of the movie.

Something something the fireworks factory?

That's odd, @Jaunito:disqus , I find their humor to be bland and inoffensive. The last good parody they did of a foreign land was the Rio episode. They just seemed to have pussed out after that. If you want good comedy, you have to take risks. That's how Family Guy got so popular, at least initially.

Bruce Willis IS: SECURITY-GUY!

Time to *CHILL*!

Man, Nemesis was sad. I took my girlfriend at the time to see it - she had never seen ANY Trek, ever, and I deliberately avoided showing her any TNG because I was positive Nemesis would be great.

Jinx! You owe me a coke.

NEEEEEEEERRRRRDDDSSSS!!!!!!

Shit, I was 16 and I loved it. Well, told myself that I loved it.

I had grown up with the Godzilla movies; they were great Sunday-afternoon flicks, and they always seemed to be on TBS. I don't know why I figured the '98 film would be in anyway similar, but holy shit, it sucked.
