I loved Ugly Betty and I was obsessed with Vanessa Williams as Wilhelmina as 13 black girl she was powerful and didn’t feel the need to be nice!

Genuinely one of the best TV shows of our times. I’m still sad Betty and Henry never worked out. I was EMOTIONALLY INVESTED in this show, and it’s one of the few shows I’ve ever been able to say that about.

She really was! Wilhelmina Slater & Miranda Priestly are my two favorite heroines! (Only those who don’t understand call them villains.) If I ever become a drag queen it’ll be thanks to them.
