Sure, but I don't believe that objectification is inherently bad. Its only a problem when that is the only option available to women, whereas men are allowed a much greater range of identities to inhabit (actually, I'll go a step further and say that it does a disservice to men to not see them as sexual subjects)

Yeah, the "OMG A GIRL" reactions are extremely annoying and all too familiar.

It's always so weird to me to see the gender ratio whenever I play pickup sports (10:1 male:female). In high school, I remember most girls playing sports. I was always below average at athletics. And now that I'm in my 30s, I'm usually one of the only women out there even though I'm not really that good. Is it

But I think that "ultra feminists" are a straw man — the entire reason why this story is cool is because we all acknowledge that it's pretty rare for a team of girls to beat a team of boys at athletics. Any reason why this topic in particular?

I'm genuinely curious what your point is, and want to discuss it with you. I don't think anyone would disagree that boys are on average stronger and faster than girls after puberty.

Ah, I remember those days back in middle/high school when my girls team could beat the boys team of the same age. As the trolls think they're so brilliant to point out, puberty kicks in and by the time you're 20, guys are faster and stronger and that's no longer the case.

It's sarcastic — we definitely all agree with you that this guy is irresponsible (and creepy)

I'm Asian and my parents would have kicked my ass for even trying to throw a party at home. I was always so shocked by what my friends could get away with.

The bullshit thing is when people don't say no immediately because they're using your event as a backup and are hoping to get a better invite. I hate it when the "yes" RSVPs come in on that same day when you sent the invites out like 2 weeks ago.

I love how happy and smiley all the hot models are. It makes them all look so much more sexy than the usual smoldering angry looks you see in fashion.

When done respectfully and knowledgeably, incorporating another culture into your art is fine. It's been done plenty of times before with no outcry, and Japanese culture has been a huge influence in fashion.

Honestly, you should just ask her what she wants you to say. I love dirty talk, and I have no problems putting words in the mouth of my partner. Following a script might be weird at first, but it'll probably help you come up with your own kinky shit to say.

Agreed. The app is why it's so convenient.

It's a million times more convenient than cabs. I don't have to stand around on a street corner for 10 minutes, peering around for a taxi. I can put in exactly where I want to go and know exactly where the car is that's picking me up.

... I know you mean well, but this is the most useless sentiment I can imagine. Do you really think that the impulses and opinions that drove these men to commit these crimes are in any way related to impulses that you and all men share? Then why even mention feeling bad about it. I don't feel guilty every time I

Not when you have a higher sex drive than your boyfriends, which is usually the case for me :(

Jesus, everyone, this is making me never want to get a boyfriend. What's the upside to being in a relationship then?

How does she make her hair do that??

I got teased for being "flat as a wall" :( You can't win.

Yes. This should be Allies 101: Signal boosting, or Knowing When To Shut Up and Listen.
