Do you know what my could-have-been dream was? To be a Broadway chorus member. I wanted to "peak" where others just put in their time. I wouldn't have wanted to be a star in the spotlight. I don't want to run a company, or be singled out for achievements; I want to live my life and love doing that, whatever it is at

I saw a quote from a director/producer that said he basically didn't let up and wanted them all to live in their grief the entire time they were shooting. So yeah, it was pretty awful. And I say that as a fan of the show. I actually refused to watch any of it; it just all felt incredibly exploitative.

I graduated from Providence Christian in 2003; I, in my sheltered naivete, had no idea what I was signing or agreeing to follow when I was enrolled, but like most families there, my parents were pretty strict, and anything they would have done to me had I stepped out of line (as in, sex before marriage, not something

A+ The Gods Must Be Crazy reference.

Everyone thinks I'm kidding when I say this, but I'm 100% serious when I say that Duck Dynasty may very well be my favorite show on TV right now. I caught a marathon one night in a hotel when there was nothing else on, and it made me laugh out loud on multiple occasions, and from then on I was hooked.

I watched this last night and woke up a few family members with my cackling. I want to be in that family.

Ahhh, I love Many Waters so, so much. Almost more than A Wrinkle in Time, I think.

Personally, I like seeing posts from people, no matter who they are. Remembrance is important, especially with something like 9/11. Public remembrance especially goes a long way to help support those who are still feeling the effects of that day. But do what you feel most comfortable doing. No one should get upset

We played this in church youth group all the damn time, and I loved it to pieces. Mainly because I can't keep a straight face most of the time, so everyone thought I was an easy target, and then I proved them all wrong. It was fantastic.

I am SO SAD that Bridezillas will soon be no more. I mean, I want to punch everyone on the show but it doesn't mean I don't love to watch it.

This is what mine does, and I end up chasing the roach down and killing it with a shoe, which then makes the cat run and hide. YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE A VICIOUS KILLER.

Has anyone ever applied for a second job while holding an awesome full-time gig? My company is going through a lot of shake-ups right now and I'd like a safety net (as well as a few extra dollars). Do you just straight up tell them I'm not leaving my other job and I can only work these hours? (For me, it's days of

Me too (well, in 4 weeks)! To be honest, my first thought was to send an email while I still fit the 27 requirement. Surprise, it's my birthday!

I'll jump in here too to add that on roads with three lanes, trucks generally aren't allowed in the far left lane, so the middle lane becomes their fast lane. Sitting there just going about your (slow) business will not win you any friends and may teach you just how close truckers can get to your back bumper without

My dad spent a month riding with a trucker friend of his and from the moment I was old enough to drive on the highway he was teaching me the ways of the trucker (he even has a CB in his car and taught me all about that, too). To this day when a truck flashes their taillights at me, I say "You're welcome!!" out loud

Straight up brown sugar is the shiz. I may or may not have done this last week. (In my defense, I'm moving and oh no there was some brown sugar in the pantry and whoops I guess I'll just have to eat it.)

This situation is highly different from a "normal" evacuation. I would hazard a guess that the crew directed more people than usual to use the overwing exits because there is simply more room for people to stand on the wing than to get into the slide. Not all slides are certified as flotation devices, and the ones

This. My mom is one of my best friends. I'm a few weeks shy of 28 and moving BACK in with my parents, and while I'm sad to lose some independence and be 400 miles away from friends, I'm glad I'll get to see her a lot, especially since my job is about to relocate my base away from where my parents are (probably out

Search for Cassie Claire. Or better yet, read the bad_penny forum linked further up in the comments.

Not to mention the entire series is based off of an old Ron/Ginny HP fic she published aaaaages ago.
