I did
I did
It’s unbelievable isn’t it. The counter argument is almost always- “I don’t give a fuck, you ain’t taking this away from me”
I included all magazine fed weaponry in my post. For the reason you point out.
I think a good response to that may be “no, but we should probably not allow drivers until age 18-21, all cars should be equipped w BAC controls and smartphone use while driving should be banned. It’s really the same argument- society should be protected from those who refuse to behave in a safe and responsible manner”
I’m sorry but I think that’s too bad. Call it “collateral damage” if you like. It doesn’t outweigh the rights of civilians to not be mowed down like animals.
Yes I do. I’m not going to split hairs on whether or not it has a burst, full auto, or fire per pull feature, we are using the common vernacular surrounding the issue if you don’t mind. It is the firing velocity and magazine capacity that makes it a wholly inappropriate tool for civilians.
To me completely incoherent. It’s a military grade weapon designed to allow a single troop to kill enemy combatants by the score more effectively than his weapon does. I don’t care that it doesn’t have a burst or full auto selector.
That’s right. You can’t outgun the government with them, but you can murder civilians by the handful.
That is not a coherent argument for making them available. When they are used people are murdered in large numbers.
I was enlisted back in the 90s and you didn’t get to touch a weapon outside of tightly controlled circumstances. All ammo was painstakingly accounted for each and every time you went to the rifle range or on guard duty. There was no fucking around. Because an M-16 is a deadly weapon of war. No one, and I mean no one,…
That’s one of the many mistakes the USGA made with this. They overruled their own official on the spot, the player and the other player in the group. They they used HD video, which seemed to clear the player, as a justification to make a judgment call to penalize the player 2 hours later. Along the way they fucked…
No they couldn’t. As everyone in the world of golf is saying. They got it wrong
They did rule at the time, by the ruling official with the group. Who said DJ did not cause it to move so no penalty. His ruling is supposed to be final. Grounding a putter to the side of the ball has never, in any instance that I’m aware of, been deemed to cause a ball to move. We’re not talking about a ball propped…
Being over the ball has nothing to do with anything. Grounding near the ball is no longer a penalty. This is an incorrect application of the rule and the USGA looks ridiculous (and hammered)
He did not ground his putter behind the ball so that would be the wrong application of the rule. The USGA got it way wrong
It’s only a penalty IF they player is deemed to have caused the ball to move. This is not going to be a penalty
Have your partner help with this! (Full disclosure, I am a husband. This may be self serving)

I was a great college drinker, also known as a college dropout after a couple years. I joined the Army, grew up a little, and did a bunch of different jobs when I got out. Never went back to school. I could have used the GI Bill but felt like I was too old and wanted a paycheck. I’m in my 40s now and have had a great…
