I love Andy, and still miss Andy Richter Controls the Universe. That show was so damn funny.

No doubt available here:

tbh i thought he had passed. glad he’s still around, maybe he can do a late career resurgence like Bruce Dern

Eddie was unstoppable in that he had the energy of a very young man with the experience of a much older comedian. Delirious was 1983, he was 22 years old with 9 years of stand-up (and 3 years as the only reason anyone watched SNL) behind him. He was that successful combination of natural talent and hard work.

This is gonna make a killing for the porn industry.

Yeah, I met Marlon Brando in 1984 in Memphis, Tennessee. I walkin’ down the street minding my own business, just walking on. Feelin’ good. I walk around the corner, a man walk up, hit me in my chest, right. I fall on the ground, right. And I look up and it’s Marlon Brando. I said ‘Marlon?’ and he said ‘Ooops, I

Well if nobody wants it it won’t make money and it will fail.

Man, you ain’t never met no Marlon Brando

Boy, I really hope somebody got fired for that blunder.

How is the money? How does all the money move? How does it work?

I’m sorry, you’re going to use the line “An actor can’t control what may become his last performance.” in an article about Ray Liotta and not make a single mention of Cocaine Bear, which had previously been hailed as his final performance? COCAINE BEAR.

ROFL! How dead at the wheel do you need to be to allow the car to drive itself THAT FAR down the VERY BUMPY train tracks? That is an *impressive* level of stupidity for both Tesla and this driver.

Soul was also a pretty good Pixar film, whose release was impacted by Covid.

It’s weird how some outlets and fans are clearly mad how well this movie is doing at the box office.

He rides a unicycle while totally nailing the Freebird solo.

There are a few period-appropriate comments that stick out (possibly on purpose, like when the Schooner Tuna guy calls Garr a “little lady” while in the process of complimenting her) but in general the movie was smart enough to make the men the butts of the jokes. The neighborhood women have their systems absolutely

That movie holds up better than you would expect: after the first few days Keaton’s character gets the hang of everything and becomes a competent SAHD, and at the end Garr’s character plans to keep working (and gets some negotiating help from the female repairperson). Plus it’s just so damn funny. Mull played a

We still use “north to drop off, asshole!” and “you’re doing it wrong!” regularly around our house. That movie is flat hysterical front to back. Plus...mmmm, Teri Garr
