Berry wasn’t a Bond girl until after the first two X-Men movies, though.

I was far more familiar with Halle Berry than Ian McKellen. Remember, this was pre-Gandalf.

when casting the various X-Peeps, I’d go with names for Xavier and Magneto

I’m listening to some classic Garbage right now, as I let YouTube curate a playlist for me based on my searches... mainly, I just need my headphones on to drown out any coworkers talking about that abortion of a debate last night.

Here, you can push it out of your head with this:

Sure, Evans was lead in some films, but Not Another Teen Movie is kind of a cult film, and the F4 movies, despite making enough money to make two of them, were critical flops.

OTOH, the MCU’s supporting cast also came out of the gate w/Samuel L. Jackson, ScarJo, Gwyneth Paltrow, and later included Sir Anthony Hopkins, Tommy Lee Jones, Robert Redford, Kurt Russel, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Annette Bening.

You may be right about Hemsworth. I never saw Cabin in the Woods an I don’t remember when it came out (and I’m too lazy to look it up).

If anything, I would think being related to Eric Roberts would be something for an actor to overcome, not use a stepping stone to get ahead of others more deserving.

I don’t see a whole lot of SAG going on there.

I never imagined Wednesday Addams would be Catwoman.

One of my favorite “that guy” actors. RIP that guy.

Texas has 30 million people, so maybe? Teh Googles tells me Texas only had 13.5K reported rapes in 2020, but the study’s methodology uses public health survey data to account for unreported rapes. I’ll include a link at the end of this post to the Houston Chronicle article I’m getting this from — it’s behind a
