Not even a mention of the BMW M57?!  Shocked and appalled, madam - I AM SHOCKED AND APPALLED.

Can you give me the Dewey Decimal number for books about vintage BMW bike shops?

If you’re an 80s BMW Motorrad enthusiast with the time and ability to coax it back to reliable shape, yes. For the other 99.99999999999% of motorcyclists, it’s a CP 8 days a week. When a bike looks like this, you won’t be replacing the parts that eventually fail, but every part that that part touches or affects. Be

Also, this bike is hipper than the entirety of Williamsburg.

This is ripe and ready for “I’m going to fix it up and have it perfect by the summer,” which turns invariably turns into “Why does my garage/storage unit look like an episode of Sanford & Son?,” which almost always ends in a very terse $200 Craigslist ad.

“A fan favorite” is a stretch.  Jorge enjoyed some success, but was never embraced like Marquez or Stoner, much less a beloved as Rossi.  He was forever the other guy on the team while another racer endeared himself to the fans.  There’s no questioning his talent and skill as a racer, but his very-public complaining

My 93 VR4 was a peach until being T-boned. After repairing $11K in damage, I put 100K more miles on it, and sold it after a nearly trouble-free 220K miles.

I had a 2014 Equus Ultimate demo for a few weeks. It was a pleasant surprise in almost every category. One thing to consider is that these cars were sold with a very generous concierge-based maintenance program - at least up until 100K, this thing was likely dealer pampered.

Granted, it’s only been in the teens (in Atlanta) a few times since I bought my 335d, but, because of these old stories, I was very surprised when it started right up on cold mornings.

Is it really appropriate to take Miazga to task for being insensitive enough to make fun of someone’s height when an overwhelming majority of the Mexican fans screamed a homophobic epithet at every goal or free kick?

Clint played like winning was the most important thing. There’s a warrior-poet simplicity in the way he approached the game, which was often in stark contrast to the way most of the USMNT regulars of his generation looked like they were trying to solve the riddle of existence out there.

She is, and has been, an absolute genius for us for years. The only downside to her being on the field is that our offense often turns into “ping it to Megan and watch her hopefully do something amazing.” As it stands, she delivers that in more matches than she doesn’t. . . but I’d really, really like to see an heir

We see this way too much in Atlanta, but without the law enforcement response. My fear is that something like this is going to happen here, and it’s going to be terrible for everyone.

I put over 200K on my 93 VR-4. Not a trouble-free car, but it held up amazingly, considering the abuse it suffered.

Clip masterlinks, when properly installed, are fine. For the most OCD of us (myself included), a dab of RTV, safety wire, or both is secure enough for a few thousand miles of track coaching and racing.

Yep. I’ve seen the crash truck have to leave the track property to go fetch a motorcycle in the yard on the other side of the berm.

T1 at RRR is no joke. A fast T9 onto the huge straight, then you stare down that sand berm when you enter the braking zone. I’ve watched too many bikes crash because the riders target fixate on the (relatively short) runoff and huge wall of dirt outside the turn. RIP to the driver.

Ah, the good ol’ Suzuki Eye-abuser. The perfect bike for the rider who loves the attention of going fast, but can’t be bothered to learn how to turn without putting their feet down. Bless their hearts.

Eh, I’d rather leave it to the pros:
