I’ve been trying to not to get all hipstery with the “You haven’t really seen an eclipse until you’ve seen the totality,” but this was my first total eclipse and it really is spectacular to see the totality.

It was worth the 10 hour round trip drive today.

Traffic getting there this morning wasn’t too bad really. Well, except for the rock truck that tipped over causing a road closure and a 20 minute detour. Getting home was a little worse, but only two spots of jam packed traffic.
