Soooo.. . do people hate them because they seem to be a functioning, loving couple who might talk a bit too much? Do we hate happy, functional people? They are working actors of limited fame. I don’t see a problem with them???

So is this an actual issue with cultural representation and/or being faithful to the original property? Or is this an issue of the lead not living up to the idealistic standards of fans?

I attended a small town southern HBCU and this sounds like what dudes used to do in the dorms.
