The last year for the T6 with a 6 cylinder was 2015.5, I thought? After that they were all the 4 cylinder cars. I drove 6 cylinder R Design and the 4 cylinder R Design and I liked the 4 better. The transmission was better, I thought.

Nice!  How are you liking it?  I seem to like mine each time I drive it.  It’s a nice step up in comfort from the C30 I had and it’s my 7th Volvo.  I hope to be able to hold on to it for a few years.

Thanks! the interior isn’t bad either...

Yes, I understand the distinction. My poorly expressed point was that you can most likely run down to your local dealership and at least drive a non-CC version of these cars if you want as it’s very likely there will be one on the lot.

It’s interesting that the V90 is only available via special order yet my local dealership has six on the lot currently.

Another ringing endorsement.

I spent the weekend with an old girlfriend who lives in New York City. Every story she told me about the living there sounded simply awful. The people she described, the smells she complained of, the lack of anything resembling quiet. It sounds like hell to me.

I think I just watched that fella get punched 58 times.  It was better with each viewing.

Quite the opposite - I am hoping to do all my shopping through Amazon.

GO FIGHTING SCOTS!

I haven’t read much about the HQ2 move in Queens. What land was reallocated and how many people will be displaced from their homes when neighborhoods are torn down to allow room for Amazon? From what I have read, the area is described as a former industrial area.

Two things: GM didn’t seize the land, the city of Detroit did and then they sold the land to GM. The distinction is small, but important. Secondly, what does Amazon HQ2 have to do with this type of situation? Amazon has not torn down a neighborhood in order to build a giant factory. In VA they will be occupying space

Why would it ever be redeveloped? There is nothing there. Detroit is a city that the auto industry killed and that the state and local governments allowed to be killed. The remediation alone will take years and would likely cost more than the land is worth.  It will be razed as far as it can, fill will be brought in

Nice! My V70 had a full R interior, 2000 RN block engine, R front bumper and a bunch of other stuff. It was awesome to drive with the 5 speed and 850R single mass flywheel and clutch. It looked basically like your picture above.

My dream car as a kid in high school was a Volvo 850R Wagon. I finally got something close a few years ago when I got a 98 V70 T5 Manual. It was tuned and lowered and super fun. I always wanted an El Camino too. So I bought one about two years ago. I sold the V70, picked up a C30 to scratch my go fast hatchback itch,

I can’t imagine why people continue to play their alleged roles in this farsical nonsense. I suppose it’s to show up to laugh at the pale guys who haven’t had a cogent thought since they got off the teat, then high five each other for posturing before the police intervene and stop any real violence, capture the whole

The deal in Virginia is also bringing Virginia Tech to the table in Alexandria. They will be building a $1 billion campus in what is now one of the last remaining industrial areas in the city. It also happens to back up to my neighborhood. Add to that the fact that the city just redid Route 1 in that area, and in so

It’s a shrunken Camry.

Why do you write about soccer? Have you not watched a La Liga game this season?  Last World Cup?

It’s odd, I thought it would look like a smaller truck since all the sheet metal is pushed in behind the wheel arches, but it looks like they just made real skinny wheel arches and pushed the sheet metal out.  What I’m trying to say is I can’t make a decision on whether I hate it or loathe it until I see one with 33"
