Everyone, even you, are missing the point. This isn’t the next big EV. This is a California compliance car. Now, I’m not sure if the same mandates are in place today as the ones that created the Focus EV, Fit EV, and Spark EV, but you could call it a social mandate—to be a dealer in California without some sort of

Where did I say that? I’m all for slowing climate change, but saying a brand new BEV that puts out 64% of the carbon of a fuel inefficient ICE car over 10 years is somehow helping save the environment seems a bit much.

Well, considering Mazda is only importing 560 of these... they see the market is pretty small.

I fit the target demographic perfectly, although I do not live in California nor do I live in a big city. But I own multiple cars and would love for the daily utility vehicle to be a nice BEV with reasonable range: 100 miles

And yet, that’s what most people need.

All else being equal, and given the current electricity mix in the United States power grid, after 10 years and 135,000 miles of use, the Mazda would be responsible for 43,475 kg, the 100 kWh BEV would be responsible for about 53,450 kg, and the average ICE would be responsible for about 67,700 kg. In just 20,000

100% agree with you on that. I still end up going the same speeds I was used to on my road bike, I just do so faster and with less effort(I don’t need to stand to climb hills now, that’s nice).

I don’t ride any faster since getting an ebike. Same speed on the flats. Same speed on downhills. Slightly faster uphill, but not as much as you think.

(*Disclaimer: I’m a fan of David Tracy’s articles, and of Jeeps)

Uh huh. You keep forgetting you photograph and show your handiwork here.

All of them work towards a goal of allowing most of the 230,000 planes in the sky to fly, but do so running on fuel without lead. That solution has yet to be found.

I mean it is as simple as banning it.  Teams will adapt, no matter what the race series.

Don’t animal hoarders say the same thing?

If there were as many Christian holy grails as there are David’s holy grail Jeeps, there never would have been crusades. Everyone would have been just happy to have one in their cupboard.

Another nail in the coffin of tracks, then. Certainly it makes it easier for residents groups to block new ones and is a stick for them to bash existing ones with. Leaded fuel just needs to die.

Whoever did the conversion neatly mounted the ECU, relays, and associated stuff on a piece of plywood and LABELED them. This is NOT a “scary mess”. It would be even easier to work with than a stock Rabbit/Golf. Are you a pussy, Bradley?

Now?  Seakeepers have been sold since 2008

You’re not dialing anything. Those are radio controls. And as someone who has just sold a Volvo with the same center stack, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, safety-wise.

Don’t get Barsanti started on the [redacted], and what they’re doing to the soil.

They found Goofus’s head over by the sno-cone concession.

All those words, and you spend literally one sentence talking about how it drives.
