That Carol’s assertiveness has its flaws makes it all the better, especially from a story-telling perspective. At the start of Season 4, when it’s clear that Carol has become proactive to the point of recklessness, I thought “in no way is this not going to come back to bite her in the ass”. Which it did, eventually

I’m not surprised that a doctor was nervous. I’m surprised that a doctor admitted as such in public. ;)

Twice I’ve been on flights where the flight crew has had to ask for medical personnel, so it does happen.

I got the feeling that somehow the sword is a big part of this. That its powers to digitize people/things makes it the world saving device.

3. The company is going to kill everyone, because the whole capturing EVOs to harness thier powers is going to prevent the people who are supposed to save the world from succeeding in stopping the Solar Flare.

I rolled my eyes at all that. Rather than the folks at EvilCorp “creating a new world” on their own initiative, the big threat is that Earth’s magnetic poles will suddenly shift while by total coincidence the biggest solar flare they’ve ever seen is going to directly target the planet. Also never mind that this flare

If that were the case, he would’ve obliterated Naboo long before that point.

Five, actually: Rick, Carl, Carrol, Darryl, and Glenn. Six if you count Morgan.

Blargh, nevermind, just reread all of that and still baffled at this one.

Baloney. You really think the people the Pope is scheduled to meet aren’t carefully vetted in advance, before they’re allowed anywhere near him? I’m sure his American staff knew exactly who she was and informed him as such. That doesn’t necessarily mean the Pope endorsed her actions, but then again he is a highly

Given that Bricken is now apparently excited to recap this show, I think he’s developed a case of it as well....

Why are the soldiers bugging out ? Is it for reasons we don’t see or know cause from the little bit they have show they seem to have a handel on the area they are in.

Actually, I thought it meant wipe out the safe zone, but assumed that they’d evacuate the valuable medical personnel of the “hospital” (although probably not those in quarantine).

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I’ve heard great things about Arrow, but Gotham...well, the only show making less sense/was more head-desk inducing than Gotham this past year has been The Strain.

Damn, you’re cruel.

So I gathered, but it’s one of the many reasons I stopped watching: basically all of Batman’s villains except Catwoman will be close to retirement by the time he takes the cowl.

I’m planning to just watch it vicariously through these recaps, an approach that worked so well for True Blood.

I read that Montoya and another cop whose name I forget wouldn’t be back this season. Although it was baffling to have her there anyway, since she’s supposed to be the same age or a bit younger than Batman. Couldn’t the show have come up with some new cops rather than drag everyone in from the Bat milieu?

I thought that too, which explains how they start off everywhere, not just spreading out from one region.

Yeah, I’m not fond of Nu Uhura. The character’s gone from ultra-competent, utterly professional officer to nagging girlfriend.
