My only concern there is she’d be 40+ by the time a hypothetical third Wonder Woman movie releases. It’s gotta be hard to stay in Wonder Woman shape after 40.

Technically true considering its called Wonder Woman 1984. I mean we have to make 1982 sequels before we even have to watch that one.

Unions are not so perfect that they are immune to critique.

4 minutes into a strike that had approval in the high 90% range among membership, you have to expect some blow back when your stated public position doesn’t support the strike.

This season of Picard isn’t without it flaws, and there’s still plenty of time for them to whizz the ending, but it’s definitely better than the previous two seasons.

And I’d be willing to watch a USS Titan spin-off, just as long as they conveniently feed Raffi, Elnor, and Borg Jurati to a sentient tar puddle in the

SNW/LD/Prodigy were my favorites of the current crop of Star Trek content, by a far margin.

However, the current season of Picard is fucking amazing, and I wish the first two seasons had been this level of awesome. I am on board if they make ST:Titan series or whatever. Give me more what they’re pumping out, straight

From what I understand, Mariner and Boimler are played by their voice actors in the live action scenes with the Enterprise crew, so they’ll appear as themselves, rather than animated characters. So it’s not a Roger Rabbit deal.

Oh don’t get me wrong, I love Anson Mount as Pike. Indisputably a fantastic addition to NuTrek who’s enabled so many great things.

That, or he’s always got fucking Nightbird playing in the background and Troi has to yell at him from offscreen to turn it off.

What would his show be about? I get the impression outside of Wolf 359 he and his crew are kept out of drama.
It would be funny though it just from contact with Picard he caught the drama bug and it starts to increasingly find him.

Now playing

Season 3 already feels so much like a backdoor pilot.

I didn’t know I wanted this, but now I need this. In fulfillment of the prophecy..

Nobody wants Star Trek:Academy starring Captain Lieutenant Ensign Tilly and a band of CW rejects.

Ro and Forbes are awesome, but Kira opened up a whole new avenue of storytelling that I’m so, so happy we got. Ro had already left Starfleet and joined the Federation during the Occupation, while Kira was a Resistance Fighter right up until the very end. Seeing her transition out of that mindset - seeing her struggle

I feel like they might have to sand down the edges a little if they did a Shaw-centric series (which I also absolutely want because holy shit do I love that character already and Todd Stashwick is amazing) because I think it’s a little too much for a central character. However, that’s easily explainable given that his

A Shaw cameo on fourth season of Lower Decks would be amazing.

I need some DS9 people to show up since we are doing what is basically also a sequel to that show.

This was far, far better. No more preying on TOS / TOS-Movie nostalgia, but actually using TNG plotlines (you know, the ones involving the characters we’re here to see) to sink in emotional hooks. I hadn’t spoiled myself about Ro’s potential appearance so it REALLY got me when she showed up. Even better that the show

I’d love to see Janeway but I’d offer up a kidney to somehow get a Sisko visit...especially since we’re dealing with Changelings.

Ro has always been one of those TNG characters that a lot of fans have wanted to return, but circumstances just didn’t allow it. That Michelle Forbes came back for this one-off was great. Her exchange with Picard I would argue is on par with his conversation with Beverly two episodes ago and with Lilly in First Contact
