I used a slightly different approach: place tennis ball in sock, use safety pins to attach sock to back of t-shirt worn every night. Preferably inside the shirt, so not much chance of the sock coming off somehow.

Wait, is he hiding the ginger parts, or (preferably) making the rest match? Although I haven't seen red dye for beard usage. Not that I've ever looked....

Beards. Because you have something to show (testosterone mainly).

A little conditioner goes a long way with beards. Yes, really.

I'm a guy, have been regularly working out several times a week in gyms for over fifteen years, and (mercifully) have never seen a guy blow dry his crotch in the locker room.

Maybe she was alarmed at all the other unfamiliar pet/medical smells he brought back with him from the vet?

In much of DC, $1,600/month for a 2-bedroom place is a huge bargain.

I know the feeling all too well. I miss my Sundance, who we adopted when he was probably 15 years old (he had been abandoned). We only got to have him in our lives for a few years, but he was a wonderful kitty boy, and quickly became inseparable from our young kitty girl.

Kathy and Bette Kane were retconned out at some point, and then later (I think) DC decided that they were part of Earth 2. Which went away after Crisis...and then came back post-52? Although Kathy is now Batwoman in the "main" universe.

To be fair, Bette Kane was Bat-Girl, while Babs was/is again Batgirl.

Cameron was originally a masculine name. Only recently have people starting naming girls that too. Although boys named Cameron still vastly outnumber girls with the name... and yes, I actually check the baby names lists/statistics that come out each year.

In my age bracket there are very few. But the name had a serious upswing in popularity starting in the late 80s, and now there are lots of little Camerons running around.

Speaking as a Cameron, I *loved* it when the name was very rare — born in the late 60s, I didn't even meet another guy with the name until I was in my teens.

But they are pets who have food elsewhere. They are killing for fun, not because they have to, with devastating results to local bird and small animal populations. And while wild cats have their numbers in check by other natural forces, human-raised cats have no such constraints, so there's an awful lot roaming

Reasons include:

Cars: I worked at a veterinary hospital in high school, and saw far too many cases of cats injured or killed by encounters with vehicles — often on "quiet" roads without much traffic.
Other animals: Other felines can fight your cat for territory, dogs might attack because dogs, and even in my suburban

The sad thing is that when I moved to DC 20 years ago, the city was a dysfunctional, crime-ridden place...but most places outside of Georgetown were very affordable.

Maybe because the Clintons actually publish theirs, while Mittens would not?

I actually saw these people on my way to lunch with a friend yesterday here in DC. They were standing around on a sparsely-traveled side-street next the the Mayflower Hotel; if I recall correctly, one of the major TV news stations (ABC?) has offices there.

Actually my female ginger tabby used to do that all the time.
