Same here, posting a shot of my knucklehead, who sadly moved away with my Ex a while ago (I miss him!) [To clarify, I miss the cat, not the Ex.]

Poor, sensitive Bruce wouldn't stand a chance with those two. :)

Would you prefer Bruce and Tony?

IT here as well, and I would never use it for anything professional (one of my Gmail accounts is for that). But I refuse to give it up!

I have had an AOL account since the dawn of the interwebs, and I Will Not Give It Up. Like, ever.

One of my favorite things growing up was a "Fluffernutter Sandwich". Basically, bread, peanut butter, and Fluff.

I’d rather Bond and Moneypenny decide to keep the relationship professional, but with a bit of flirting & continuously figuring out just where the boundaries are between them. And as asturdivant above said, have Monpenny serve as a “foil” for Bond, bringing him down to earth in ways that M can’t – as a friendly

Yes, and Pirates of the Caribbean (where at first I didn't realize that was her as Calypso). I hope Ms. Harris has all sorts of great acting opportunities, but in particular I want her to be able to develop the new Moneypenny if she's interested. Not as a Bond girl, but as a fellow agent who supports 007 both at

Just please, please leave room for Naomie Harris, the new Miss Moneypenny. I really enjoyed her in Skyfall, and I would love to see her get screen time — and not just behind some desk — in future Bond movies.

My doctor is all for HPV vaccinations. I was going to ask about it during my last physical, but he broached the topic first. Keep in mind that much of his clientele are gay men, who are a high-risk group here.

Except there are many strains of HPV, some of which a person might not have been exposed to yet, which may have a role in cancer, and which the vaccine would cover.

You can. I did last year, and I'm in my mid-40s. It's just that insurance probably won't cover it (mine didn't) and the shots (typically three of them over several months) aren't cheap.

I know it's a commercial aimed at selling a product...but I admit to giggling at that part.

I get my teeth cleaned three times a year — two trips covered by my insurance, and one out of pocket — since I've had troubles develop fairly quickly in the past.

Communication is key. Tell Mr. Boom you want to set aside time to talk to him without any distractions, and *tell him* exactly what you just told us. Not as a confrontation, or a guilt trip, but let him know that you need (and from the sound of it, it is "need" rather than "want") his assistance in that department.

The Washington Post just released a new poll on marriage equality in Virginia. Happily, a majority appear to favor same-sex marriage:

I agree that the Conservatives will fight extremely hard in Virginia. Plus given their recent tactics of astoundingly blatant gerrymandering to keep Democrats out of office and closing the Republican primary for the governorship in order to hand it to the fundamentalist candidate, I expect they'll play dirty too.

If northern Virginia continues to rapidly increase in population and wealth compared to the rest of the state (well, technically a commonwealth), then hopefully we'll have enough clout to usher in marriage equality sooner than you'd think.

As a fellow redhead, I have happily embraced my "gingerness". If people are going to use the term (and they will), we might as well co-opt it for ourselves.

Carol has become my favorite character as well, and I think you *did* put your finger on the reason why: She is discovering who she is after the deaths of her abusive husband and her daughter, and becoming a stronger, more confident person in the process.
