"These men, the attackers, don't have to take responsibility for their actions against others. These women, the victims, have to take responsibility for their attackers' actions against others."

I hardly think it's sensationalist to discuss the physical and mental issues that can accompany pregnancy and birth. Just because the process is a naturally-occurring one doesn't mean it isn't also disastrous once in a while.
I so badly want to know the look on the Sheriff's face when he found out he was recorded calling the rapists innocent and the victims liars. This same thing happened to me in my own rape case, and I now and then fantasize that i'd recorded it, godamit.
Because perhaps he does the same thing himself, probably. That's why he's trolling. He's victimized women himself? Just a thought.
Bullshit. They are ALL to blame. Sheriff told the family "get over it," and expressed clear & biased opinion about Coleman mom. Fuck that guy.
Rapist even admited on record (now sealed because the case was dropped) that he did indeed have sex with her while she was unconscious, but claimed it was "consensual" because in his fucked up head, lack of no means probably yes. Video recordings, rape kit tests, bed sheets, her underwear, witnesses.....AND HE WALKS…
Just wanna also say kudos to the Kansas City Star for their continued coverage of this. They are also the ones who have been riding the MO Children's Division for the corruption and negligence that has led to disgustingly brutal (and preventable) deaths of children up there.
That sheriff needs to be fired yesterday. Something tells me he's being paid by Rex Burnett to keep his grandson out of jail. Or perhaps they're close friends. Whatever the case may be, he needs to be replaced by someone who will actually do their job. Does he really expect us to believe that 10 girls who accuse the…
Daisy is fucking brave. Good for her.
And that, Madge, is why I only go to Alamo Drafthouse. Good food! Comfy seats! The ability to kick out talking/tweeting/texting patrons, who would ruin the movie for you at other theaters! Strict cinematic etiquette is a beautiful thing.
I kind of love tacky rich people in general. Just goes to show money can't buy class or style. Though probably it can buy you an equally tacky wife.
I suspect 'roid neck, on a natural giraffe neck.
The youth are coming up quite nicely.
He raped a woman. I would care less if this guy lost his job.
Those are necessities! Don't feel guilty about buying winter boots if it's 10 degrees outside!
Despite not having much money, I bought myself a bunch of movies when Criterion had a 50% off sale. I "should" have saved the money or used it for necessities but it was such a treat and made me really happy to get the DVDs. Which is a welcome change from mostly hating my life right now.
Another mother of the yeat candidate, who dates a dude like this AND leaves him with their kid?
Yeah. It won't.
true fact: The women's bathrooms at Harvard Business School have baskets of tampons. Nice.
