Being an aunt is the way to go. I watch Harry a potter movies, play basketball, and make crafts with them, and they draw pictures and bake cookies for me. I get to sleep through the night and don't have to clean up vomit or save for college.

I think his humor & world vew is so super super specific, it only appeals to a certain kind of person. We watched Annie Hall in film school and people were really divided over it. People either absolutely loved it or they thought it was an unfunny & pretentious piece of shit.

Yeah, I remember watching the guy who wrote “The Gift of Fear” on Oprah. And he was listing situation after situation where women escaped from a dangerous situation because they ran as soon as they felt a weird vibe. I totally took that to heart and now I pay attention to how people make me feel.

I think we’re kind of trained and conditioned to ignore our instincts though. I feel like women are constantly told we’re overreacting, or we’re being dramatic when we have a bad feeling about someone.

I agree. I think loys of people think they are the only ones who experience certain types of abuse because we don’t openly talk about these things.
