Yeah I remember being surprised by that too. It was the tail end of 80s fantasy movies that were willing to scar kids (The Never Ending Story being the prime example).

I LOOOOOOVED Figment as a child. I made sure to buy a t-shirt last time I went to Epcot a few years ago. It’s the closest thing Disney World has to a true deep cut. I am very excited by this news.

She definitely inflicted several wounds on the film, and I’m certainly not saying that her behavior was in any way good, but let’s face facts, directors being shit heads to their actors and crew is a tale as old as time.
