That’s a good way to put it.

Caring about what Cox has to say is definitely at the bottom of my list, but I’ve seen a lot of people slam coverage of Perry dying as if the only thing that should matter in the world is what’s happening in Gaza. Apparently people can’t care about multiple things at once.

Weird snark. I don’t think the world is waiting for their response. Most of us know how devastating this loss is for them.

Make sure all of the more famous people are planning to keep living before you die. No one wants to fall out of this news cycle so precipitously.

I’ve been kind of moved by the recurring guest stars’ posts about Perry. Brooke Shields, Lauren Tom and Morgan Fairchild have posted lovely things.

Right of return doesn’t mean Israel ceases to exist; it just means the Palestinians who were evicted (or, by now, their descendents) could return to their homes.  I’m not convinced Hamas would be satisfied with that; their stated goal is the eradication of Israel as a state, which goes well beyond the right of return.

Israel played right into Hamas’ strategy of luring them into slaughtering tens of thousands of innocent Palestinian pawns in order to shake Western support and popular American support of Israel, and as a side effect increasing anti-Semitism worldwide. Probably Iran was behind it, and Putin is certainly approving it.

We agree. I was making basically the same point you are making, just ironically. I don’t actually think these poor premature children whose parents were kids in 2006 are to blame for Hamas’s actions.

Obligatory: Won’t someone think of the children!

How do you expect Palestinians to vote when the opposition party was exterminated and there has not been an election since 2006? These people are just as much victims of Hamas as the Israelis are. And you can thank Putin for his support of that, not just Iran.

Israeli airstrikes have killed over 7,000 Palestinians, including over 3,000 kids.

In addition to the lack of fuel and electricity in Gaza, Israel has also cut off Gaza’s water supply

I’m glad she found a good writer to work with her on this. I’ve long gotten the sense from her social media that she has a lot to say, but struggles to put it into words. That’s a common enough affliction even among those of us who had a normal amount of time and attention to devote to high school English classes.

I have no idea what that dude’s name is, so you’re absolutely right.

I mean, being 40 years old and having to rehash your shitty relationship from when you were 19 in front of the whole world does kinda suck. But also he has more money than I ever will in my entire life, so, y’know, fuck ‘em. Go sit on an island until we get bored & start talking about something else.

“If Timberlake is so affected, I have to wonder why hasn’t he, say, issued a diplomatic statement, or spoken to Spears behind the scenes—and before you wonder whether he has already, the tabloid’s sources insist otherwise.”

Especially for a man who died in 1977. Seriously, WTF?

I’ll do you one better; my dumbfuck BIL has been an active duty Marine for over a decade. And *every time* the government is about to shut down over budget negotiations we tell him to start saving money, and *every time* he tells us we’re wrong and that he’ll still be paid regardless because somehow things have

You need to up the humidity on this one by about 50%. Nobody here can handle a joke this dry.

Too much credit to Pelosi. The explanation here is simply that the Dems don’t have the equivalent of Maga Repubs who don’t actually care about governing.

Killers of the Flower Moon was right there, Kylie.
