That’s probably what it would mean within 6 months of common use.

Court size makes sense as far a just more people being able to play. It seems like the pace would be more of a cultural determination though. A smaller court could also lead to a blistering pace, if people felt like being competitive.

Do you think the new private courts will still be as accessible to all levels of athleticism?

How is pickleball inherently any more democratic or accessible than tennis?

It seems like “prepared extensively” might include getting clean or preventing additional pregnancies if still engaging in behavior that would be detrimental to the child.

Counterpoint: Pivoting to AI would reduce the number of bizarre grammatical errors on Jezebel.

Sound the alarms! White cheerleaders are realizing what  cheerleaders of color have been saying for, oh, I don’t know, decades?”

The use of “deserves” is kind of wild. Like, nobody “deserves” to get pushed, but trying to reach past a celebrity’s security has the likely outcome of getting pushed. She didn’t “deserve” to get knocked over by 12 year old girls either.

I think that's the problem with therapy speak. People know that rules and ultimatums are bad, so they just learn how to word their rules and ultimatums and refer to them as "boundaries", even though it's the same thing.

Waiting for Dolly to drop the single like “I heard the kids are doing something called ‘hyperpop’. Well, that sounded pretty crazy to me, but, y’all, I figured I’d give it a try!”

At this point, I think Kylie's job is to write articles so shockingly bad/incorrect that they generate clicks purely from astonishment.

I was going to say the same thing. Fallon’s ‘job’ seems to be... failing upward?

Log Cabin Republicans aren’t known for being perceptive or intelligent.

“She was like, ‘No, he was a fan, he sent photos to me and he was obsessed with you… and once in a while I’d respond to him,’”

Weird that the severe budget pressure led to the firing of the whistleblowers, but the promotion of the accused.

She chose it twice, so she's probably on the same level.

I know there's been a lot of talk in the queer community about inconsistent standards. A fitness model in a thong will get thousands of views but a photo of a gay pool party with speedos will get flagged. I think they leave stuff up that they can more easily monetize.

Good thing she hasn't been forced, or even asked, to create a wedding website then!

It feels like the “Imagine” one doesn’t even belong on here. It was tacky at worst, and it felt like it had been out-tacked by the end of the week. Celebrities were truly doing the most in 2020.
