If that was your actual stance, it would be a lot smarter to not post it in every thread.

And like, I don’t think Kaine was like for-realsies hardcore anti-abortion, but he had a clearly mixed record and Clinton didn’t pick a “personally pro-life” nobody on accident.

At this point, I’m just like “Vote for you to do what?” What is the second part of that plan, help me out here...

Easier to blame Sanders than just admit that Hillary didn't run a great campaign or they didn't drive enough friends to the polls!

Yeah, I literally had people on this site saying things like “You should be excited to vote for Hillary, and if you’re not, stay home!” because we only want morally pure support. (I unexcitedly voted for her anyway, and even unexcitedly volunteered for Biden.) The right is just taking all votes and getting shit done.

Also, centrist dems have already started trotting out stuff like “We shouldn’t have gotten distracted with less important issues.” and wonder why minority support isn’t as predictable as they want it to be.

I just posted this in another thread, but this is exactly why “Vote!” as the sole battle cry is running out of steam. Vote, and then what? Because every possible next step gets shot down, so what am I voting for Democrats to do? They can’t legislate, amend, expand the court, etc, so what are they going to do? There’s

Even in these comment sections, I see people who are like “We have to vote blue!” but then shooting down anything that a (bigger) Dem majority could do. Like, if you don’t think legislation, constitutional amendments, expanding the courts, making birth control OTC, etc could work... why vote? Vote for what? Like, what

No, no, I’m sure this means that we need more pro-life democrats running on prominent tickets.

I don’t know if English is your first language, but please look up what “prioritize” means. I’m aware that Democrats are incapable of contemplating or executing anything longer-term than “fundraise for the next election”, but they’re going to have to get their shit together since Republicans are playing a long game.

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists seem to disagree with you, if you wanted to defer to experts.

Nothing that works in other countries could ever possibly work in the US!

Yeah, Bette, we’re well aware. As if LGBT rights haven't been non-existent to precarious for decades.

People can OD on cough medicine, but you can get it OTC. People can fuck up their liver with acetaminophen, but you can get it OTC. People can get vitamin A and D toxicity, but you can get it OTC...

It’s “blue no matter who” until it’s time to get shit done, then it’s “well, they’re not really blue."

I voted for her, but was also shocked that she was the candidate. Republicans have been building their campaign against her for basically my entire life, and then to run a Clinton in the current climate seemed a little doomed.

Abortion rights were the most important issue in 2016, which is why the Dems ran an anti-abortion VP candidate!

A comment that I keep seeing and don’t understand is “If Democrats had codified Roe, it would just get overturned anyway. And if a favorable court had ruled, this court would just overturn it.“ Then why would voting now suddenly matter? Another wave can always come along and roll things back. I guess I see it as “so

Oh yeah, if given a chance, Democrats will always form a circular firing squad. And complain about other voters while not volunteering for their preferred campaign or anything.
