That’s no accident...

Yeah, I finished my associates at a community college and I feel like they kind of falsely deflated their tuition numbers by making a lot of it “fees”. It was still less than the university I’m at now, but... not as much less as you’d think.

I’m a returning student (I went for the first time a decade ago), and I’ll say the book costs for me have been way lower this time. Before, every class required at least one book, and most of the books were $50-120. Since I’ve returned, most of the required books have been online text (which has its own problems) that

I mean, every day is April Fool's Day when you're a fool!

I mean, it was definitely an “Oh damn!” moment, but as far as everyone talking about normalizing violence, I think the Grammys’ roster of people with credible abuse allegations does a lot more for that. I guess we’re not directly seeing that violence, so it doesn’t bother people as much to reward it.

Probably because we're also not members of the academy.

I mean, it's trashy, but he didn't beat Chris Rock up. He slapped him.

I was going to say "in case... someone wanted to... do something..." but I don't want to end up on a list.

Yeah, a slap isn't even going to make it on the list of fucked up shit Oscar winners have done.

I think revoking the award would be even harder. I mean he slapped somebody, are they going to go take awards back from all the people who have done worse? I feel like that would create an even bigger backlash.

At least they'll all be in one place. Everywhere else will be a little bit safer.

Security is apparently only for peasants who try to rush the stage or whoever’s acceptance speech goes 3 seconds too long.

Yeah, she’s out here setting unrealistic scalp and head geometry standards.

That’s why they have the bowling alleys in their homes though. They don't have to do it with the riff raff.

I mean, the joke was basically “Remember another beautiful actress who shaved her head like 30 years ago?” and not everyone keeps up with celebrities health. It’s not out of the ordinary to debut a dramatic hairstyle in awards season.

Hard agree. You can’t, however, call him orange without commenting on his appearance. (Which is the only thing I commented on.)
