As a native St Louisan I can wholeheartedly say that is correct. 

I currently live here. While yes, crime could improve (it’s actually dropped significantly this year), it’s largely overblown by people who don’t even live in the city. Definitely tired of the cops getting a free pass all the time for their handling of most situations.

Recall the woman officer who was killed and the two other, male officers, claimed they were playing with a gun and it just went off on accident? While one was supposed to be out on patrol?
