it will be very interesting how this affects overall pricing. while new cars, dealers are already acclimated to rolling add-on’s (tru-coat!) into the monthly payments, but used dealers are much more shady, and less so. so i suspect we’re going to see resale prices tank as the new subscription models work their way

i was thinking they’d have one of their mechanics ‘alter’ the rav4 to drive terrible, vibration, pulls to one side, poor a/c or heat output...

the reality is, i’m only here for the comments.  the site will get a lot smaller when it’s just a few authors shouting into the void.

and the hilarity of using the worst wavelength for it as well.   red or green would maintain night vision, and provide usable lighting.  blue just makes a statement and makes it harder to see anything.

i didn’t like talking to people when i owned 2 convertibles and had the top down. where do these people get the idea i want to talk to people through a piece of glass?

trust me, it’s not labor prices. it’s liability, and insurance that’s driven the market to insane costs.

the reality is JUST DON’T CUT CORNERS. most of the installs that strike fear into non-electricians have to do with either using non-electrical parts, or poorly connecting electrical parts in a way that is just asking for problems.

speaking as an electrician, this doesn’t surprise me in the least.

this is what these ‘web services’ should have done from the beginning, and it would have skirted many of the issues they’re now having.

good thing you’ve never made a mistake!

and that’s exactly what the overarching point hamilton makes is about.

to the campanies benefit, it IS much easier to be cheaper/faster if one ignores all requisite safety requirements.

they really should change the search query to “clutch pedal? yes/no”

i bet you $20 that autonomous vehicles won’t ever reduce congestion because it’s a roadway capacity issue, not a human issue.

i love the people that remain convinced that traffic congestion is solely a human interface issue, despite the fact that more and more people are commuting from greater and greater distances all the time.

the interesting thing for me is that the only reason tesla took off the way they did is because they invested into their charging network.  every other automaker just said “we build cars, charging ain’t our problem.”

i just had this conversation with my co-worker, who swears he’ll never ‘waste money’ on a new car, ever.

too bad none of the models listed are light cars.

but how many men with tiny penis’ are blind? the numbers can’t be that significant.
