ha, check the reply chain. i was talking about going back in time in a yugo..

robb was unbiased and honest last time, but the overall tone was negative so no one wanted anything to do with it...

i’m curious as well about the engineer’s imposed limitations on the vehicles.

the point is not how heavy the trailer is, it’s where the weight bias is.  you can have a 40,000 pound trailer, or a 400 pound trailer.  but if the weight is mostly behind the axle, you’re having a bad day.

in some ways i’m relieved to know that the planet hasn’t killed us off, but disappointed that autonomous vehicle overlords haven’t taken over to better control the chaos.

the hilarity in going back in time in a vehicle that’s lucky to hit 70 with a tailwind to see henry ford to teach him about automobiles is not lost on me.

3rd question.  why are the pictures taken while the car is parked ACROSS an intersection?

or my favorite. “i’m calling about the car you’re selling for $1200. i can pay you $50 a week. i need the car now.”

I type this as i leave work in my brz. SHIFT LATER.

Lol.  Best car got this from motorin.au, which got it from their asses.

My point is that it doesn't really fix anything, just creates a new set of problems

What is the benefit of locking them up? Why should i want to pay for their room and board, and 3 meals?

I was thinking it sounded a little tinfoily as i wrote it. But I’m quite sure insurance isn’t asking for their best OTD price before cutting them a check!

I don’t know... The main complaints were the fare cost, lack of cleanliness of the vehicles, and availability. Uber does correct all of those things,t despite correcting fares by giving money away. Had they implemented a similar system from the beginning, i doubt they would even make headlines.

This needs a ‘reality check’ tag.

Work trucks get dirty doing work.  Most of the trucks in my area have tires that are cleaner than my lunch box.

Yep. But if we’ve got to deal with this shit show of fighting over emissions, I’d like to see a universal global standard. That would cut billions.

This comment is doubleplus good

If we’re going to go down this road of bothering anyone that’s got different requirements, i want to see the US push for unified global emissions and crash safety standards.
