I think economically it will be ok, possibly even a net positive.

I think that symbolically, that would require you guys to somehow stop the actual Brexit, and I don’t see that happening. I think it makes that much harder to crawl back out of that cultural hole if Brexit actually happens.

Like, I don’t get why anyone is trying to let her off the hook. She’s a consummate politician, so she’ll move where she needs to go, but her heart is decidedly right-of-center. That’s not even really up for debate.

Especially since he’s a notorious fast food connoisseur. Seems like they should have been able to send the butler for some Burger King, no harm no foul.

Dinner’s not ready? You have a bazillion dollars and you expect your wife-y to be the one preparing the meals?

She actually doesn’t have a legal obligation, since the referendum wasn’t binding. A lot of people post vote were talking about holding a re-vote, or just ignoring it all together, because of how catastrophic it’s going to be for the country.

Racist idiots are going to be sorry when 30% of the UK’s healthcare workers leave.

Trump is not one that scares me it is fans, this why i do find it very unnerving that anyone could think that would all be over if he does not get elected. They will be looking for a target to blame for Trump not wining and they blame anyone who is not white and male.

Theresa May at 2015 Tory conference speech:

I shudder to think at the insane, inflammatory, violent shit that will spew out of Trump’s mouth in his concession speech. I’m hoping that he’s so pissed off at the (OVERWHELMING) landslide that he won’t bother to give one. In fact, I hope he loses his mind on twitter and just flames out.

Actually the referendum was not legally binding so the government could have (& still could) set aside the result and not done anything. Of course, while that would have been perfectly legal it would’ve been political suicide to do.

Rubbish, she showed her true colors as Home Secretary. Always was and always will be a right wing conservative and anti immigration windbag.

She’s still a horrible person.

there are just a lot of angry old people in the uk; theyre downright führious

Seriously. Dafuq is Nigel Farage even doing here? Trump is so eager to deport people...start with this meatpie.

I know it seems so heil-ly unlikely doesn’t it?

Let’s not forget Farage and Trump are bffs now. Scary times.

Living here at the moment is just so sad. I was racially abused after the Brexit vote, it just felt like a kick in teeth. Being spat on and told to leave the country is just lovely feeling.

I’m shocked, SHOCKED, that a rabid nationalist movement in a European country has led to racial, ethnic and religious violence. I mean, it’s not like that’s ever happened before!
