Planetside 2 seems fair, but I can't really play it much.

They've been confirming F2P games for a while now. DC Universe Online will get a PS4 port, as will Planetside 2, War Thunder, Blacklight: Retribution and Warframe. Warframe and War Thunder will be cross-platform too.

Older games are still on Steam, but anything recent requires Origin and needs to be bought on it.

Actually, Valve games are available to buy on Origin.

I don't care about consoles, these are comments about PC parts.

Congrats? I realize that, but people still don't want to provide their own prices. That includes modern CPUs, I'm not going to look over a table of benchmarks to bring up something comparable for you.

It counts, though you do have much more patience than I'll ever have.

Dunno, I'm not so optimistic when I look at that gap in frame rate.

Oh of course not, and running two cheaper cards in SLI is a great way to give your system a cheap upgrade/boost, which it seems he did. Then again it does all add up, as you mentioned.

Why would it not be playable on every PC? Because different people pay different amounts of money for their rigs. Sure, he can run it well (OP said most people can't, not everyone), but that's thanks to some good parts. The correlation's there, I was just noting it.

Where are you getting prices from? I see a CPU that easily pushes past $100 and goes over $200 and a GPU that's about $400.

Your higher-priced parts don't suddenly make his parts look better. I don't see your point.

If you were to use his current parts as an example, with current prices, something like $610. That's just the RAM, CPU, and GPU.

Those aren't cheap parts...

"But I digress."

The game itself looks nice, no more, no less. If something looks brilliant, amazing, or extremely good, then I'd use those adjectives. So there's context.

Your stream must be finicky, because while I see motion blur, I don't see it "jacked" up on it. Nor does it looks bad, it actually looks nice.

That's expected, honestly. I'm sure most people now take "in-engine" gameplay to mean cutscenes.
