Isn't that true for large-scale conflicts though? I'm not saying that PS2 is realistic or anything, but I'm sure the same things have happened many times in history. Unless you mean like 70 people in one room instead of just busy bridge/base battles.

Then let us drink to it?

To be fair, you can favorite servers and avoid bad ones.

I'll take the fall for that one.

You don't ask questions, you just eat. You just eat and be amazed that you can buy a meal for one dollar.

McDonalds has dollar meals? Well damn, why the hell do I still have to pay a dollar for a burger?!?

Dunno, Total War seems like another Sim City launch, sans the online DRM.

This is a fairly amusing review of the Latest Total War game.

Maybe you're being sarcastic?

Are you shocked at how cool it looks? Because I am.

Hell, they even used the camera on their phone...

Developers like the phrase "seamless multiplayer", so that's what I've been going with.

My very fast-thinking mind thought you were going to note the difference between seamless multiplayer experiences found in Dark Souls and the kind of experience you get with MMOs, but then I finished reading your comment and frowned.

This late in the cycle developers are paid to make each version as good as possible with parity.

Hmm... forty recommends...

Exclusives always play and look better than multiplatform titles, regardless of platform. What developers have said that the PS3 is more powerful? The only snippets I hear are from studios being paid by Sony, and frankly John Carmack has been the most open with regards to each console's performance.

You're assuming that developers are lazy, and as such are restricted not by the limits of the system, but by their own willingness or ability to develop a game for each system.

I would be more inclined if so many games didn't perform worse on the PS3, and I'm willing to trust John Cramack's words as well.

I love this comment, your post, and that image. All of it.

Actually, the 360 is more powerful than the PS3. Even currently, when every developer has basically figured out what you can or can't do on each system.
