Well that's unfortunate, but free is free. SimCity itself and the topic of refunds is an entirely different story.

A CoD every six months? Holy hell, it would be a dream come true for Activision.

How is giving free games a spit in the face? I could maybe see the analogy working if they were horrible games with their own horrifying DRM, but these?

It's probably because watching this on YouTube still isn't as good as watching it being played in front of you. Plus, it is only one person, though there's discussions about the future of LPs and game recording. It's nice that developers and publishers allow people to monetize their software for themselves - it is

It'll be on all consoles, sans the Wii U.

How many buildings could you level in Panama Canal, in BC2? One? Yeah, it was actually my favorite map.

As it should be! I'll restrain myself from praising it, there's enough of that elsewhere, but it managed to replace Okami and Kingdom Hearts as my favorite game.

Wait, so is this a true MMO? Or a world structured around instanced areas with a lot of players?

Yeah, I was kind of blanking on games that had three movement speeds. Modern ones anyways.

There's Dust 514, which isn't all that great in it's current form but hey it is F2P. They don't seem too worried about launching the game in a Beta state. The other one is a RPG called FreeRealms.

I just like the fact that more MMOs are coming to consoles, Dust 514 is stuck in continuous developmental and FFXIV still hasn't had a Beta for the PS3.

I think it has more to do with player control. Think of games that give you two or three movement speeds, why do they do that? So that you can move faster over long distances and slower in smaller areas, and some games gave you a third speed (like Okami) so that you could move faster in small areas if you want but not

Meh, it's still fun for most people.

Should I have put a smilie face? I suppose the tone of that comment wasn't pleasant...

I switched for the HMG once they patched the canister shell, I didn't like being SOL if I missed with either it or the main shell, but now I'm using it again. It's just too good.

Generally that's true, but the controller isn't as gimped as this video makes them appear. These guys probably don't play a lot of multiplayer on BF3.

I'm pretty amazed by Journey, honestly. That one's going to remembered long into the future.

No, it wasn't a "bore" and anyone who says otherwise either has a very limited taste in videogames or they're neck-deep in nostalgia for older times. I made up a pretty nice list of "good" games for both consoles in 2012, and there was plenty of variety.

Visually it looks a lot less stylized than the original game....meh, still buying it.

Which is why I can't use Tediore guns, I always waste ammo with them.
