It seems that too many people think that Sci-Fi/fantasy/superhero comics are real history instead of some shit that’s made up that can change at the creator’s whims. In truth, it’s just a very vocal, small set of fans that post the same shit on a bunch of websites. Most people get suspension of disbelief even if they

I got such a kick out of the Enterprise showing up at the end (and it looked fantastic), so of course the AVC review hates it.

He had a power dampener on his ankle.

DeVoe is a jerk

Humor is subjective. Skits that ‘hit’ for me are often shredded by the commentariat, and vice versa.

I dunno, this made me laugh quite a few times. The Super Bowl Revolution skit was very dumb but very funny, especially Fey bringing the venison hoe-gies from Wawa - you know, Wawa the Indian lady. Monster voice Portman in the Nick Awards bit was great. Weekend update was very strong. And of course, Portman in full

Natalie Portman gangster-rapping will never get old for me. Ever. But I was still holding out some hope Vanessa Bayer would come back for one more Totinos spot this year. The lack of her not feeding her hungry guys was definitely felt.

How in the world do you go at Fitz, but then donwplay Jake and make it out that he’s just now acting like a jerk?

Now playing

The actual bloopers from what the diner sketch is based on are incredible

“You promised me you weren’t gonna be Green Arrow anymore!”

our heroes patting themselves on the back surrounded by a bunch of very dead people felt kind weird

I always had problem with the idea of Hell not just because no one deserves eternity of torture but because it also makes the whole idea of Heaven suspect. If you are a good person - the one like “real” Eleanor was supposed to be - how can you enjoy your paradise knowing other people are being tortured at this very

C is generous. Update was good. Fresh Prince was okay. I’m always amused by Chad but there wasn’t much there and the restaurant and Amazon sketches had potential but died. Music was mediocre.

And the cool host tried her hardest! These grades are just off the wall. It’s as if humor plays no part in this show’s quality. It’s more about how the material treats social issues, and how those decisions are either right or wrong. Never forget, objective number one for this show should always be to get laughs, and

Yeah, with the exception of the Fresh Prince sketch this was definitely a C+. I thought the Stormy Daniels bit seemed cruel, similar to how the focus ended up being on Moncia Lewinsky during that scandal instead of the guy cheating on his wife.

But they wore timely t-shirts durin the monologue!

Kenan is consistently funny in every sketch he is in. I think he is the funniest cast member and this is one of the reasons why he hasn’t been let go against his will like others before him.

Update was really strong while the rest of the episode was a complete flop. Rockwell is seemingly terrible at performing live, and I always saw him as more of a chameleon before tonight so it was also a bit of a bummer to see him thrown into a bunch of bits as a conservative or out of touch middle aged white dude

Was already eye-rolling your aggressively angry comment about a TV show and then you used the term “betas” and it all made sense. Carry on being an embarrassing trash person.

And why did they make Alex do the obnoxious thing where a character answers an extremely basic question by rattling off half of a chapter of a history textbook?
